Update

It has been a while and Iceis is wonderful. They are playing together every day, she is licking him.
I think she is sometimes treating him like a baby which he is. ha ha
I love my Iceis she is so cute, she will always be my number one.

Iceis is doing great

Iceis is doing great, she likes her new friend. She is sometimes jealous, for example when I am touching him, she will come and wants my attention too.
She doesn't like him sleeping in her bed and on the couch, that is when she will growl at him.

Our neighbors dog, Baby, likes to run away since they are not walking her at all.
So yesterday she was out and playing with Iceis, I have some pictures and a few videos.

Dog Park

We went to the dog park today, it was cold but nice and a lot of fun. At first she was careful with the Boxer but 1 minute later she was all into the chasing and jumping. Even the little Chiuaha started to warm up with Iceis and finally went to her, to sniff on her, then he was chasing her and all three had a lot of fun.
We walked one round and then left. We were thre from 9:15 am till 11:30 am.
On the way home I was looking for the 'Total Canine Care' Store and I found it. Right next to the River Drv. It is a private own store and they all the goodies in there, good healthy food, they also do special orders. I bought Iceis 'FROMM' dry food. She loves it. I paid $15 but it is worth it cause she gets only 2 cups a day and this package will last her.

When we got Iceis from the shelter in Clarksville, TN she was only 3 months old. I don't have many pictures of her, because my Laptop crashed once and I lost everything.

They told us she is a hound mix probably with a beagle. She does really look like a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Well I don't know for sure, but who does except of a DNA test. ha ha

We traveled with her to: Hattiesburg MS, Gulfport MS, Gatlinburg TN, Jack Daniels Raffinery in TN, Germany.

She is a hound that is for sure, she likes to sniff and follow her nose. She once was running loose and saw a deer in the woods, well you can imagine what happened next. We were lucky, my dad found her deep in the woods, close to a fence barking at a deer that jumped over. When she is following her nose she is not hearing nothing else it is sensless. I am very careful now.

She doesn't like strangers, she has to get to know them. The beginning is always the same, growling, barking. Most people wrong reaction is oh she will calm down right and when she does, they think they can look into her eyes and try to pet her with the arm above her head. She still doesn't feel safe and will either growl or most of the time she just wants to snap. She did this 3 times already but didn't catch their hands, thank God.

I always tell people not to come to close but some think they know everything. Not every dog is nice to everybody.

These characteristic are common in Ridgeback another reason for her to be a mix.
